Rawan

Rawan is a Palestinian/Balkan, Global Citizen, Arab Woman, based in Jordan, Waging Love across the world.

She uses her voice as an Artivist through her singing/songwriting and facilitation of brave spaces focusing her work in the SWANA region. Her group facilitation over the past decade has ranged from issues such as reclamation & remembrance of indigenous knowledge, conflict transformation, collective liberation, consent work, women’s work and more!

She also works with people 1-on-1 in a program she developed entitled Voice Liberation. She fuses Sound, Movement and Intuitive Rituals as tools in her work.

She began her journey with plant teachers in 2019 and is a humble student of the plantcestors, in service with her voice for the healing of our human species as but a part of our larger ecosystem of creation. Rawan has been listening to the lands and is showing up for the reclamation and revival of the ancient sacred feminine frequency, singing her bones back to life.

The Whirl

Resonance

Sound is present in all of Rawan's facilitation. In her SoundWork sessions it becomes the main language — an invitation to engage your own voice, to open blockages, bring balance, transform emotion and discover new parts of yourself inside the collective frequency of harmony.

Sound has a shape.

Every tone draws its own figure in the sand. Choose a maqam and play its notes, let it walk up and down by itself, or hum into your microphone — and watch the grains find the still lines.

Tuned to A = 432 Hz, like the garden you hear when sound is on. Your voice is analysed on this device only — nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

In circle

Group sound-healing journeys, often alongside other sound healers and musicians, where every voice in the room becomes part of the instrument.

Rawan is a powerhouse. Deep in her voice and sound, powerful in her impact, and enchanting in the way she brings together the ancient and the new. She is an incredible musician and one of the best space-holders I have met. Whoever gets to receive her medicine is extremely fortunate.

I joined the Voice Liberation program expecting it to be just voice training — but what I lived was far deeper than that. … By the end of the program I felt a clear difference in my voice: clearer, stronger, more present.

Thank you, Rawan, for your lovely company … You opened my mind and inspired me with ideas, and I found the courage to carry out an idea I had put off for years.
